INNOCENCE: THE PURITY OF LIFE

Canadian Tsuga, Rosewood, Balsam Fir, Lemongrass, Nard

Innocence blend was created to return us to a pure, simple and life enhancing style.

Visualize the color white as a lamb and the purity of an infant. Innocence reflects a sense of cleanliness, clarity, freshness, newness and healthiness. It also speaks to vitality, integrity, ethicality, piety and honor. Ultimately, it is the perfection with the oneness of the Universe.

Innocence is being in the flow with the universal energy like the primordial sounds of nature; like the whistling of the wind as it brushes one’s face, or rustles the leaves. To experience and see with clarity, safety and freshness the beauty of God’s creation.
The new blend has Canadian Tsuga which helps dissipate fear; facilitate change and transformation.  It opens the heart without fear and allows one to let go of stress and negative thoughts. Rosewood will bring strength, courage and facilitates the flow of the spirit to the body.  Balsam Fir brings enlightenment and joy. Nard brings deep inner peace and realization that we serve as a bridge between heaven and earth. It helps attain our sacred space within. Lemongrass is also a sedative for the central nervous system.

Application: Inhale and rub 1-2 drops between your heart and solar plexus (spleen area - left on the bra line)
Personal Experiences: “This blend is needed by all people at this time of change. My clients have experienced a state of clarity, trust and love.” Ralph

“Innocence helps with release of fear of judgment and restores a state of trust and love.  It allows confidence in expression and gentleness to open and know your uniqueness. The Universe designed by God was Innocence.” Svitlana

“I am joyful and smile a lot when I wear this one. I feel I can conquer the world”  Mba

GUM TONIC: With the coming of Spring, many experience gum challenges. Gum Tonic was created to alleviate gum related issues. This exquisite blend combines Lemon, St. John’s Wort, Cinnamon and Aniseed —

Lemon: was used to prevent scurvy by our ancestors who traveled the seas.  It is known to refresh and uplift, to cleanse the body or to disinfect. It balances the nervous system but may cause skin sensitivity to the sun or irritate sensitive skin.  It may relieve bitter resentment, distrust, irrational thinking.
St John Wort  is used for massage as it makes a wonderful carrier oil. A few drops mixed with honey or on a piece of bread may help you fight depression and may be an energy booster. It also helps with burns, cuts and bruises etc. If it hurts somewhere, go get your bottle of SJW. I recommend everyone have some at home for emergencies.

Cinnamon  is used for tooth and gum care, warts, poor circulation, arthritis, anorexia, diarrhea, intestinal infection, sluggish digestion,  childbirth (to stimulate contractions), frigidity, colds, flu, infections, nervous exhaustion, stress conditions.

Aniseed is a stimulant which helps digestion, circulation and respiration and is used for food flavoring.

Rub 2 - 3 drops on your gums. It tastes delicious. Or put a couple drops on your tooth brush! You can also use a pipette, as it is easier to pour.

Personal Experiences: “Gum Tonic was part of a program that rescued my gums from severe dental disease.” Jan Z   --- “It took care of the infection in my gums and saved me many $$$.” Deb --- “Gum Tonic has been a great help with several bouts of gum infections. Great taste.” R Tomita
“My husband reluctantly used Gum Tonic after his first gum graft with measurable improvements in remaining gum pockets. He was sold. No more surgery. Thank You. “JS

PACHAMAMA, The Inca Goddess of the Earth, by Marie Allizon

Pachamama is a goddess revered by the indigenous people of the Andes. Pachamama is usually translated as "Mother Earth" but a more literal translation would be "Mother Universe" (in Aymara and Quechua mama = mother / pacha = world, space-time or the universe). Pachamama and Inti are the most benevolent deities and are worshiped in parts of the Andean mountain ranges, stretching from present day Ecuador to Chile and Argentina.

In Inca mythology, Mama Pacha is a fertility goddess who presides over planting and harvesting. She causes earthquakes. Her husband was either Pacha Camac or Inti, depending on the source. Llamas are sacrificed to her. After conquest by Catholic Spain her image was masked by the Virgin Mary, behind whom she is invoked and worshiped in the Indian ritual.

Since Pachamama is a "good mother", people usually toast to her honor before every meeting or festivity, in some regions by spilling a small amount of chicha on the floor, before drinking the rest. This toast is called "challa" and It’s made almost everyday. Pachamama has a special worship day called "Martes de challa" on a Tuesday where people bury food, throw candies, burn incense.

Mikael Zayat created a blend in her honor with White Spruce, White Pine, White Angelica, Frankincense and Nard.

Application: Put 3 drops in your hands, rub them and touch your heart and then the 2 minor chakras, below shoulders, those points you touch when one makes the sign of the cross.

Personal Experience: “It is very calming. It feels like you are making a dow –for the Earth-. I have a sense that I can do anything I need effortlessly. I am at one with greatness. You feel being embraced by a mother’s hug! Svetlana”

“I used it in healing sessions and received profound healing.” MBA

GAIA II, Mother Earth Goddess

Sacred Blend: Laurel, Rosewood; Lavender, Juniper, Balsam Fir, ArborVitae

GAIA (or Gaea) was the primeval divinity of earth, one of the primal elements who first emerged at the dawn of creation, along with air, sea and sky. She was the great mother of all : the heavenly gods were descended from her union with Ouranos, the sky, the sea-gods from her union with Pontos, the sea, the Gigantes from her mating with  Tartaros, the hell-pit and mortal creatures were sprung or born from her earthy flesh.
In the ancient Greek cosmology earth was conceived as a flat disk encircled by the river Okeanos, and topped above by the solid dome of heaven and below by the great pit of Tartaros. She herself supported the sea and mountains upon her breast.

Gaia appears in the character of a divine being as early as the Homeric poems, for we read in the Iliad (iii. 104) that black sheep were sacrificed to her, and that she was invoked by persons taking oaths.
Gaia: "land" or "
earth", from the Ancient Greek Γαîα; also Gaea or Ge (Modern Greek Γ) is the primal Greek goddess personifying the Earth. She is considered a Mother Goddess or Great Goddess. Her equivalent in the Roman pantheon was Terra.

The mythological name was revived in 1969 by James Lovelock, in Gaia: A New Look at Life on Earth, where he proposes that living organisms and inorganic material are part of a dynamic system that shapes the Earth's biosphere, and maintains the Earth as a fit environment for life.  Further books by Lovelock and others popularized the Gaia Hypothesis, which was widely embraced and passed into common usage as part of the heightened awareness of planetary vulnerability of the 1990s.

With this blend, you can spiritually protect and love the earth; meditate for mother Earth..
Personal Experience: “A very potent blend, sooo powerful. It went right in the center of my brain. I release on a friend the sexual shame of being a woman and abused. Then, a brownish, reddish fog like came to be released for humanity. So I would say good to release shame. Try it!” S.T.

Application: Put 1-2 drops on base of skull and 3rd eye, NOT more.

  AMATERASU : LET THE SUN-Shine:
Lemongrass, Rosewood, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Goldenrod & Jasmine

Amaterasu Omikami is considered to be a gentle harmonizing presence and symbol of the myriads of kami. She blesses everybody indiscriminately with serene light. One can say that Japan is one of the few countries in the world where modernization and great economic growth have been achieved while the traditional deities, with Amaterasu Omikami as spiritual center remain important in people's lives.
But Amaterasu Omikami does not have the character of the absolute God of Christianity. She is described as a symbol for the myriads of kami, and as the one who brought great harmony to heaven and earth.   Our ancestors lived with awe and respect towards the kami.Shinto, the indigenous religion of Japan, is based on these concepts of kami. The ancient Japanese believed in numerous kami, their multitude is expressed by the number eight million.
The basis of Shinto faith is the consciousness that nature and human beings are united firmly through the kami. This consciousness is expressed in the ritual forms of worshiping the kami. Among the many Shinto sanctuaries in Japan, Ise Jingu is the supreme and  offers spiritual support for the Japanese in times of confusion. The kami of Ise Jingu is Amaterasu Omikmai, the supreme deity, who is not only the ancestor of the Imperial Family, but also the kami that gave rice to the people, as described in Japanese mythology.

This sacred blend will bring joy;  it will anchor you and will help stay in trust because even after a period of harsh times, the light and the sun always come  back. It will  help you breathe and take in the sun.

Application: Put 1 or 2 drops on the hands, rub your them together and feel the heat, clap them twice and take this energy to your heart to feel the connection with the universal light.

VENUS, the Goddess of love and beauty.

Sacred Blend : Ylang-Ylang, Mandarin, Grapefruit, Orange,  Jasmine, Cinnamon Bark.

She was a major Roman goddess, the equivalent of the Greek goddess Aphrodite who played a key role in many Roman religious festivals and myths. Venus is also a nature goddess, associated with the arrival of spring. She is the bringer of joy to gods and humans.

During the Renaissance  in Europe, Venus serves as inspiration to many great works of art, including the statue of Venus De Milo now in the Louvre and The Birth of Venus, by Botticelli.  As a "classical" figure for whom nudity was her natural state, it was socially acceptable to depict her unclothed. As the goddess of sexual healing, a degree of erotic beauty in her presentation was justified.

It is the Goddess Venus who inspires people to love one another and to celebrate the rites of marriage. She is also associated with the rites of Spring and Fertility. Though there are many other great Goddesses associated with Love, Venus reigns as the supreme Goddess of Love.

Venus rules your social attitudes and behavior, and your aesthetic tastes and inclinations.  Venus indicates your values. It describes romance, marriage and other partnerships, capacity for humor, and the pursuit of pleasure. Ylang-Ylang, rose and cardamom are associated with her and archaeologists have found the world’s oldest essential oils factory in Cyprus, her island! http://celticspirit117.blogspot.com/2007/03/ancient-perfume-found-on-venus-island.html

Application: Inhale and/or use as a perfume

NEFERTITI  The symbol of Beauty for Egypt

Sacred Blend: Basil, Mandarin, Geranium Egypt, Ylang-Ylang, and Bulgarian Rose

Nefertiti was Queen of Egypt, wife of King Akhenaton (formerly Amenhotep IV; reigned c. 1353–36 BC), and mother-in-law of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun Her name roughly translates to "the beautiful one has come". She also shares her name with a type of elongated gold bead that she was often portrayed as wearing, known as "nefer" beads. Famed throughout the ancient world for her outstanding beauty, Nefertiti remains the one of the most well known Queen of Egypt.

She was made famous by her painted limestone bust, now in Berlin's Egyptian Museum,  seen from two different angles. The technique which begins with a carved piece of limestone, requires the stone core to be first plastered and then richly painted. Everything is sculpted to perfection: flesh tones on the face give the bust life.  Her full lips are enhanced by a bold red.  Her graceful elongated neck balances the tall, flat-top crown which adorns her sleek head. The vibrant colors of her necklace and crown contrast the yellow-brown of her smooth skin. Because this remarkable sculpture is still in existence, it is no wonder why Nefertiti remains 'The Most Beautiful Woman in the World.

This blend of Basil, Mandarin, Geranium Egypt, Ylang-Ylang, Bulgarian Rose is to honor the beauty in us, to accept our beauty at each step of our life. Beauty belongs to life, so does change.  It is not fixed.

Application: Inhale then apply as a perfume.

KWAN YIN: THE GODDESS OF COMPASSION AND GENTLENESS,
  by Marie Allizon

In the Buddhist tradition, Kwan Yin is one of the most respected deities. Also known as Quan Yin, Kannon (Japan), and Kanin (Bali), she is the embodiment of compassionate, loving kindness. Quan means to inquire or look deeply into, Shi means the world of people, or generations, Yin means cries.

As the sublime Goddess of Mercy whose beauty, grace and compassion have come to represent the ideal of womanhood in the East, she is often shown pouring a stream of healing water.  With this water, devotees and all living things are blessed with physical and spiritual peace. She holds a sheaf of ripe rice or a bowl of rice seed as a metaphor for fertility and sustenance. The dragon, an ancient symbol for high spirituality, wisdom, strength, and divine powers of transformation, is a common motif found in combination with this Goddess.

As a true Enlightened One, or Bodhisattva, Kwan Yin vowed to remain in the earthly realms and not enter the heavenly worlds until all other living things had completed their own enlightenment and thus become liberated from the pain-filled cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. There are numerous legends that recount the miracles which she performed to help those who called on her, women especially, and they convey the idea of an enlightened being who embodies the attributes of an all pervasive, all consuming, unwavering loving compassion who is accessible to everyone. Kwan Yin counsels us by her actions to cultivate within ourselves those particular refined qualities that all beings are said to naturally possess in some vestigial form.

The blend of Lavender, Petitgrain, Laurel, Clary Sage and Sandalwood opens you to compassion first, and then enables you to reach out to others. --- Rub 1-3 drops into palms and put them on your chest, heart chakra and thymus.

                                                                  ISIS, the Sun Goddess
Geranium, Cypress, Black Spruce,  Tagete,  Goldenrod,  Bulg Rose,  Jasmine
Isis is the most famous Egyptian goddess. Her fame comes from the legend of Osiris who is the God of the invisible world. Being his wife and his sister, she became pregnant after his death and gave birth to their son Horus who is considered the first human being.

Isis is often represented as a woman with two horns with  the sun in the middle to connect with sun spirit inside. it is important  to understand that the sun in Native American, Semetic and Arabic traditions, is considered a feminine energy. This blend  will  awaken our spirituality, deploy our golden wings and raise our spirit which allows us to see things from a higher perspective giving us a different comprehension of what happens to us.
This blend has been created especially to call the spirit of Isis. It is made of  7 pure and natural essential oils:  Here are their spiritual properties.   Geranium helps balance feminine mood swings while Cypress is to stay in balance  when there is turmoil. Black Spruce is like a mast of the ship which holds the sails up and  gives vital force to the spine. It also links us to our ancestors. Tagete, this sunny Egyptian flower adds a very deep and warm fragrance to the blend and shines the sun in the brain.  The Goldenrod, Bulgarian Rose and Jasmine all work on the heart chakra balancing the emotions and helping the user to open his heart without fear.  Put 3 drops in your hand, rub them together and open your arms like a wing to receive and give love energy.

SAINT GERMAIN BLEND TO TRANSCEND & TRANSMUTE KARMA

According to French philosopher Voltaire, Master Alchemist Comte de St Germain is known as “the man who never dies and knows everything.” He manifests himself wherever he is needed to help humanity during transitional times; that is why he is important nowadays with the ongoing shift.
He is associated with the Violet Flame, which is a higher frequency in the color spectrum and linked with the crown chakra. I was inspired by his energy to create a blend to help us stay focused, contribute to raising consciousness and to transmute all karma into positive awareness and universal light. The blend consists of Basil, Lavendin, Rosemary, Marjoram, Cedar.

Basil helps relieve indecision and doubt, is antiseptic and is an antidepressant.
Lavendin
removes anxiety, supports the heart and helps promote good quality sleep. It works on crown chakras and can help release past memories.
Rosemary
was brunt in sacred ceremonies to invoke the Goddess and keep evil spirits at bay! Its vibration supports loyalty towards others and self and is liberating.
Marjoram
is a gentle symbol of happiness. It balances and clears the mental body.
Cedar
is associated with violet flame, it will help bring clarity and higher consciousness.

To let go of fear of change and walk in confidence. Also to trust the flow of life and shift to higher consciousness.

--- Apply 2 drops to the bottom of the feet and 1 drop on the forehead and solar plexus. See precious for prices

A good friend, Pine, who dedicates his life to helping others go through difficult times, gave me his feedback: “I absolutely love the Saint Germain blend and use it every day when I call in and visualize the Violet Flame, 2 drops in the morning and evening. This blend assists me in remembering to trust and stay in the flow. When I focus on love and trust in the universe, that's when the miracles happen! A potent blend for transformation.  Many felt the transmutation and saw the violet flame. It works well in conjunction with Archangel Michael (used on tops of feet, knee caps, solar plexus, heart, 3rd eye, crown chakra.”

AN OIL TO HONOR THE BUDDHA WITHIN US, by Mikael Zayat*

Connecting with   the inner Buddha is very helpful at this time as it reminds us of our true nature. Buddha helps us anchor the beam of Oneness and Compassion.  Buddhas come to us now in different ways as love, forgiveness, peace, harmony, tranquility and serenity and to help us   embody these qualities and experience them everyday in our life.
After meditating on the Buddha, I asked to be inspired by this loving energy. These aromatic essences manifested themselves to be combined in this special blend : Mandarin, Verbena, Jasmine, Cinnamon.

Mandarin  (citrus reticulate) is cold pressed from the rind of the fruit that was used by the Mandarins (imperial Chinese officials). It promotes happiness and release nervous tension. Its oil is fresh and joyful and the inner child loves its smell, so does our inner Buddha.
Verbena  (litsea cubeba) has a long medicinal history in China. It is spiritually used to uplift the level of intimacy and connection to the heart center. Life becomes child like and light hearted.
Jasmine: In China, these flowers were used for many healing ceremonies. Of course, it is famous in Jasmine tea. In Europe it was favored as an aphrodisiac to uplift the body, soul and spirit. It brings euphoria and wisdom; it unites apparent opposites. It is a potent aid for spiritual development.
Cinnamon bark is one of the oldest recorded spice in China and the rest of Asia. Egyptian used it in their embalming procedures. It is known to help shift from self  hate  to love of self.  --Apply 2 drops to the palm of your hands and inhale; also lovely to diffuse it.

It will attract love, compassion and wealth into your heart and radiate it to all sentient beings.

LAVENDER, THE MOTHER OF AROMATHERAPY

Rene-Maurice Gattefosse, a French scientist, was working in his lab when he burnt his hand. He reached for a bottle of Lavender and sprayed it on the wound. He was amazed to see how quickly it healed. He then dedicated his search on the effect of these wonderful substances and developed the practice of Aromatherapy. It was Lavender that first led Gattefosse to initiate the word “Aromatherapy”.
The plant name comes from the Latin word lavare “to wash”. It is a purifying essence that works that works on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual realms. In their book “The Magic and Power of Lavender”,  Maggie Tisserand & Monika Iunemann describe this plant thoroughly and introduce the secret of this essence and its  healing powers. There are several Lavender essences available on the market.  They are native to the Mediterranean region.

The most known is the True Lavender (Lavendula Vera, Lavendula Angustifolia, or Lavendula Officinalis), which has also several names: English lavender, Common Lavender, and also Garden Lavender. It is considered by Philippe Mailhebiau as the female Lavender.
Spike Lavender (also called Lavendula Latifolia or Lavendula Spica) is considered the male Lavender. Its main constituents are cineol and camphor.
The Lavandins (Lavendula x intermedia, Lavendula Hybrida) are hybrid plants developed by crossing the Lavender (Lavendula Vera) with the Spike Lavender (Lavendula Spica). There are quite a few Lavendin essences: Grosso, Abrial, Super and Reydovan are among the most used or known.
These essential oils are all steamed distilled and their use is determined by the availability, the price, and their therapeutic effects. In aromatherapy, each Lavender has a specific use. Lavendula Vera works on the Solar plexus and it fights insomnia and anxiety. It is a wonderful antidepressant, stimulant and tonic. It is more expensive than the other lavenders, so it is often altered. Spike Lavender works on the Heart chakra, it is also a cardio tonic. The Lavandins works on the Crown chakra and help relieve past memories. Lavendin Abrial is a tonic, muscle relaxant and anti-inflamatory & some detox.
To summarize, Lavender has been used as purifying and antiseptic oils. They are excellent for burns, and they can be easily used with children and the elderly. You can blend them with a good neutral massage oil. Instead of putting the oil in the bath water, which can cause irritation on sensitive skin, massage instead on the body after drying.

MARY MAGDALEN OINTMENT TO OPEN THE HEART

Mary of Magdala was named after a town on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. The root of the name "Magdalene" is the Hebrew word "migdal," which means "tower," "fortress," or "stronghold.
Mary Magdalen appears in the four canonical Christian gospels. She is the one who anointed Jesus with a very precious aromatic essence of spikeNARD.   She is also important to the Gnostics but remains a subject of ongoing debate.
According to Tom Kenyon –who channeled The Madgalen Manuscript— and Daniel Meurois who wrote a book on her life from the Akashic Records, she was a High Initiate of the Temple of Isis. Her relationship with Yeshua represented the union of the Divine Feminine and Masculine through which all creation transpires, as well as redemption through divine illumination. On an emotional level, this sacred marriage means the union of the male and female aspects of our psyche through which our personality is brought into a harmonious manifestation where our true intelligence and creativity become expressed.
It was important then to use aromatic essences to heal the body and the spirit.
NARD (nardostachys jatamansi) is a small aromatic plant identified with the biblical NARD mentioned in the song of Solomon. “While the king setteth at his table my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof”. 1:12
Our essential blend Mary Magdalen consists of Canadian Tsuga, White Spruce, NARD,
White Angelica, Frankincense, Neroli and Hyssop.
This blend helps strengthen the alchemy between matter and spirit and  can assist you go through difficult times with courage and serenity.
NARD reveals the secret path to the seeker who is focused and sets an intention to live and serve with an open heart.

Metatron is considered as the greatest of the archangels. According to the Jewish mystics he is at the head of the chore of the most powerful angels. His name means "The Guide". He is the angel of liberation as he is the one who supposedly stopped Abraham from sacrificing his son Isaac. He is known for making the link between the humans and the divine.
Metatron is a mysterious figure, one of the most important angels in the heavenly hierarchy, though his not mentioned in the Scriptures. He carries many names, and is identified as "lesser YHVH", the most sacred, unpronounceable name of God. Metatron occupies the throne next to the divine throne. He is known for having been the prophet Enoch, a scribe with immense knowledge, before his transformation into a fiery angel.

Calling upon him is believed to offer protection and access to his powers. It will help us break off our old bonds, habits and insecurities, and reach a new level of consciousness. Call upon him when you need strength to change and expand your limits, with confidence and simplicity.

ARCHANGEL GABRIEL: THE SCENT OF LOVE, by Mikael Zayat*

The name Gabriel means "Man of God", Messenger from God, or "God Has Shown Himself  Mightily." Gabriel is the angel of the moon who brings man the gift of hope. He is the spirit of truth and the prince of justice.  He is the ruler of herbal medicine.  He is the leading angel who stands in the presence of the Divine creator. He is the Archangel who announces to Mary the good news!  Maker of changes, he is the Patron Saint of Communications Workers .

ARCHANGEL URIEL, A BRIDGE TO THE “LIGHT OF GOD” by Mikael Zayat
This 4th Archangel oil is inspired by and dedicated to Archangel Uriel. He helps us connect with the “light of God” within us. He sheds light to see our path more clearly with love, wisdom and compassion for us and around us. Uriel means God is my Light, or Fire of God. Light means understanding and fire means purifying.
Uriel teaches us to open our heart to pure love, which is the real alchemy.

The blend that I created is made of these four pure therapeutic grade Essential Oils:
Orange, Petitgrain, Rosewood and Lavender.
Orange is the symbol of the sun that everyday rises in the East (Orient) and help us find our direction.  Petitgrain facilitates the exchange between Heaven and Earth, and establishes self-love and self-nurturing.  Rosewood facilitates the flow of the spirit to the body, and gives the courage to open our heart without fear. And Lavender helps us to embrace love and peace at the deepest level.
Apply a drop or two on your crown chakra, to help you feel the connection between your inner self and the Sacred Spirit of Love and Light.

UNDER ARCHANGEL RAPHAEL's WINGS, by Mikael Zayat

In Hebrew, Raphael means "God has healed". Other sources say that the name Raphael signifies "Shining Being who heals". Archangel Raphael is credited with healing the earth and its inhabitants indeed, but he is also associated with the planet Mercury and the Egyptian Hermes who brought  Sacred Geometry and Alchemy to mankind.
Our lives are now more challenging than ever, which means that we have to go through more healing movement than ever. The alchemy of transformation takes place inside of us at the moment when we can bring the light of God in our soul, when we can bring more of pure love into matter.
That is Alchemy in its most spiritual sense. If you are going through a difficult period of change, invoke the name of Raphael without hesitation.
If  beauty, health and fitness are your concerns, you can be supported by the force of Raphael. Under his loving wings, you will powerfully feel how much your body is holy. If your body is in pain, call upon Raphael's wisdom to help you create the alchemical bridge between your mind, body and spirit.
In the old days, singles used to invoke him to meet  their spiritual companion. And I am sure it is relevant today too.
I just created a blend with Rosemary, Laurel, Clary Sage, White Angelica, and Hyssop that calls forth the healing light of Archangel Raphael.  May his shining light assist you in the alchemy of transformation and help you achieve the sacred union of male and female energies, of spirit into matter, of heaven on earth.

Apply a few drops on your heart chakra. Take a few minutes to absorb the healing energy of Raphael

A TRIBUTE TO ARCHANGEL MICHAEL, by Mikael Zayat

I was inspired by my guardian angel to create an oil that connects us with our higher self. I blended 5 pure Essential Oil  to remind us of the white ray that connects us with our highest consciousness and help us realize our unity within the diversity.
The key oil of this blend is White Angelica, Angelica archangelica, that helps to make the user more open to angelic energies. According to Patricia Davies, in Subtle Aromatherapy, this oil may  “…mean being more in tune with our higher selves. The plant is often referred to in mediaeval and Renaissance herbals as Archangels, Angels’ Herb or the Herb of the Holy Spirit because of its almost miraculous powers of healing at a physical level, particularly during the plague. These healing properties are very real and we can draw on them in both subtle and traditional aromatherapy.”

EFFICIENT AIR PURIFICATION, by Mikael Zayat

The air in many temples and other religious gatherings has been tested and shown to be toxic. In some cases, it was even worse than in extremely polluted cities. The culprit was the burning of synthetic incenses. This information is very alarming, but not surprising since most incense sticks available on the market are anything but natural. We asked the producers in India and Nepal about the ingredients they use in their formula. Most of them were not aware that the fragrances they bought from Europe, mainly France, were not extracted from the real plant but chemically formulated.
Burning this kind of incense and/or aromatic candles can cause discomfort, headaches, dizziness, asthma and allergies.  Fortunately, there is an alternative. We can purify the air in our living environment as well as our ritual place by using natural aromatic essential oils that are diffused into the air using an electric aromatic diffuser or by simply putting a few drops of oil on a ribbon in front of a fan. The best oils to use in this case would be Balsam Fir, Eucalyptus and Lavender or some of our 100% natural blends like Conifer, Clear, White Light, Om, Stress Out, Christmas Joy, etc.
These oils can also help fight airborne diseases that can cause flu including avian flu. Our blend Flu Out can work remarkably well, along with Immune Up and Spell Out. You can also use these oils while traveling by putting a few drops on a Kleenex, a shirt or pajamas!

The tiny star shaped Jasmine petals are usually collected at night, when the scent is at its strongest. This essence has also a long history of use in oils and perfumes. It is a precious oil, since large quantities of flower petals are necessary for extraction. The price for 500 mil of pure oil can cost up to $6,000.00. It also lifts melancholy and is good for impotence. It could help relieve repressed feelings, bitter jealously, low self-esteem, guilt, and emotional abuse.

SPIRITUAL AROMATHERAPY II By Mikael Zayat

One day I was in the mountains of Mexico near Popocatepetl far removed from pollution.. I was visiting a friend and he took me to a small shrine where I met a master, a leader named Guru Macelli who was giving a meditation course.  I sat and listened to his lecture.  He was a very sensitive man, taking special care with each little object.  He discussed incense and its importance to people throughout the ages

Guru Macelli went on to say  that now much of the  incense on the market is manufactured from synthetic fragrances.  Today, many people, when buying incense,  are not careful to look at the origin. They just smell the box or envelope….If it smells like strawberries or vanilla, things that they like, they buy it.  But these are just pieces of wood with a wood powder attached to it – dipped into synthetic fragrances….When these products burn, they do just the opposite of what we are looking for…they drag us down instead of lifting us up.

Long exposure to artificial products has the potential to be harmful. These can be found  in many areas in our homes…candles, incense, cleaning products, soaps and many perfumes.  The base of the scent is extracted from a petroleum product. Synthetic incenses have been tested in temples in India and found to be more toxic and more pollutant than the smoke from cigarettes.  They try to fool us, but when you burn these over a period of time, they might make you feel ill…they tend to make you feel low…People don’t understand this.

I recall  being a young boy in times of spiritual celebration, looking at the smoke from the burning incense….smelling the pungent aroma, watching the white smoke rising from the incense burner.  It was uplifting. I felt like the smoke was carrying our souls with it.  Our spirits wanted to rise with the smoke soaring up the heavens.  There was a sense of unity with all of those gathered around us.  The products were extracted from various trees, frankincense, etc…and the memory, the feeling of goodwill and safety returns whenever we encounter these fragrances today, in incense and oils.

There is a truth in essential oils and aromatherapy.  I believe that it is my responsibility, my duty, to educate people to the importance of pure essential oils in our lives.  This is my mission.

Mikael Zayat is a distiller of essential oils in Quebec who has been doing research for over 25 years.  He is the president of  Foundation du Havre, a foundation dedicated to promoting a healthy, balanced life-style.

THE SOUL OPENING TSUGA, by Mikael Zayat

(Tsuga canadensis) or Eastern hemlock

is Canada’s most graceful conifer which is abundant in the northeastern region of the US.  It can be distinguished from all other conifers by its summit branch bending toward the east

Anne Meurois-Givaudan has found in her work that Canadian Tsuga helps to calm and prepare both terminally ill patients and individuals who are moving to the final stage of their life on earth as it helps you get in the "here and now." You can reduce fears and anguish for those that find it difficult to let go. It also alleviates anxiety and stimulates mental grounding.
The Tsuga is a breathing tonic, and is useful for people suffering from asthma and other types of respiratory weakness. It also helps people sleep, adjust to new surroundings (including jet lag), relax, and fight disease. It is good for mental fixation.  Many good results have been reported to help dying persons as it opens subtle doors.“
Applications:
Use it pure on the feet, or 5th chakra, or in slow and delicate massage on feet and upper chest (4 to 8 drops). Breathe it consciously and put a few drops on your solar plexus or your hands. If you are too tense to meditate, put a few drops on your hands and apply it on the adrenals, in the middle of your back, (it helps the circulation and the production of adrenaline). You will feel more energized and uplifted.
If you travel, make sure to carry a bottle of Canadian Tsuga with you, as it promotes a smooth transition and prepares you for the energies of the countries you are visiting.  Apply 2 days before departure, on your hands and feet. and two days after.

ALCHEMY AND AROMATHERAPY! By Mikael Zayat

Essential oils go to the essence of things. In the highly developed, technical world we live in, we have come to depend on many things that are not essential. We are here in a garden created especially for us to be shared and enjoyed. We experience everything through our senses -touch, taste, smell, seeing and hearing- and through these we truly come to know our environment.
One cannot visit the garden all at once. You can view it all from above, but from that level you are not able to see all of the different stages of growth and the beauty of each flower. Some of the most fragile and delicate flowers are so tiny that you have to be a small child to even notice them -under the shrubs and bushes. Usually we are so busy looking ahead and above, we don't notice the small gems on our path as we walk on them and crush them, unaware of the loss.
The sense of smell is directly linked to the central brain which is the base of our emotions and spiritual connection.
Alchemy is the transformation of our heaviness and darkness into light. Everyone has the potential to be an alchemist. It is through our heaviness that we come to know our lessons. We need to have this part of the balance in our lives so that we may experience the creativity of transformation. It is only with love and joy that we can do this, not by following any formulas or chemical procedures. We must be present in a field of freedom to accomplish this.
Love is the only thing that can open our hearts.
Our work should be accomplished with love and joy, not pressure. The energetics of our work are always made manifest later. Holding these principles in mind, we are now prepared to explore the Alchemy of Therapeutic Essential Oils.

PROTECTION AGAINST CELL PHONE RADIATIONS AND EMF by Mikael Zayat

Would you believe there are some oils known to protect against Electro Magnetic Field or cell phone radiations like:
Red Pine, Pinus resinosa
grows in Northern America. Its oil is very similar to the Cypress one.  It is traditionally used to prevent against negative influences. In Europe they used to surround the cemeteries. It heals the energy field and allows love to flow between all living beings. It stimulates the adrenals glands and the circulatory system and helps also the respiratory system.
Niaouli, Melaleuca quinquenervia,  is known to protect against radiations, according to Dr. Penoel and Franchomme. It is also used to revitalize, stimulate, and help deep burns and clean wounds. “In conjunction with radiation therapy for cancer –according to Pat Davies-- applying a few drops to the skin before each session of cobalt therapy will protect against burning of the skin and it has been shown to reduce the severity of such burns”. It also strengthens the immune system and supports the endocrine system, purifies, removes pollutants and excessive fluids from the body. It is “used to defend us from psychic attacks”, according to Gritman Guide to E.O.!
Frankincense, Boswellia carteri: By making incisions into its bark, drops or “tears” are collected reminding us of wounds. This resin cures the wounds, has healing power and stimulates the immune system. In the past, it was burnt to drive out evil spirits.  It can help to let go and forgive.
Mikael just created a blend for you: CELL/EMF radiations with Red Pine, Niaouli, and  Frankincense.     Put a few drops on your wrists. Or three drops on a handkerchief you can carry, or get a vial you can wear all day around your neck!

BALSAM FIR OIL TO STAY HEALTHY FOR CHRISTMAS By Mikael Zayat

Soon people will be shopping for Christmas trees. Many avoid the natural ones for convenience and because they don’t want to destroy the forests. The truth is that artificial trees are made of polluting plastic materials. Most of all, the Christmas trees we find are grown on land that are unfit for agriculture and are much closer to the North American tradition.
The reason the Balsam tree was used at Christmas time was to protect the house from diseases brought in by holiday visitors and bring joy. The candles on the Christmas tree heat the needles and release in the air large amounts of essential oils that kill all bacteria when you  are having a respiratory problem.  It has been recently discovered that Balsam fir completely destroys tuberculosis.
Now we can extract essential oils and use it all year round.  Just put a few drops of essential oil on a handkerchief and put it in your pocket, or apply it to your feet.  This is very simple to do. It can also be diffused in therapy rooms, massage rooms, waiting rooms, in retail stores, in your living room, instead of using the synthetic fragrances found in most candles and “aromatherapy” products.
Cold and flu can be fought very easily using a conifer blend of Balsam Fir, Red Pine, White Spruce, Canadian Tsuga and Arborvitae ($13 for 84 drops).  This Conifer blend works in synergy and is a natural antibiotic.  The diversity creates a more powerful effect. Or use the Immune System up as a preventive, or Virus Out that you rub on your chest if you are already affected.

Spiritual Aromatherapy, By Mikael Zayat

Intuitive knowledge comes from within a person. It comes from a place of “I don’t know why I know, I just know that I know”. It brings with it certainty and confidence. There is no way to explain how you know or verify what you know except follow it and see what happens. You just know. It is often experienced as a hunch, inspiration, a feeling in your gut, a voice in your head, a mental picture, or an experience with what others cannot see but you do. It comes with thoughts: “Am I going crazy?”

While scientific knowledge follows scientific methods. Ask a question. Guess the answer. Begin a set of tests to verify or invalidate what you think. The scientist is not a part of the findings but the observer of the data... Science deals with what can be seen of senses by our five senses. It does not go beyond that.”

To formulate a spiritual blend, concentrate and contact your deep inner soul, where the Spirit is connected with the Holy Spirit. It’s like the Internet on the spiritual level. Then, find the oils that are appropriate to your current needs and mix them in proportions that allow them to play together in the same manner that the different musicians play in an orchestra. Then, thank the Creator for bringing the healing, joy, love and peace in our hearts and seal it with a kiss. Of course, each blend is unique, so each time I start from the beginning. The oils you use are to be prepared by joyful and conscientious people.

Follow your feelings while you create. Align yourself with the Divine and wait for guidance. We carry lots of spiritual essential oils like in our Chakra, Spiritual, Native American, or even our Emotion sets. Go to http://www.4dshift.com/products/html/different_sets.html

THE NARD OIL REJUVENATES AND HELPS SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION
By Mikael Zayat

Nard (Nardostachys jatamansi), sometimes known as SpikeNard, is native to northern India and Nepal and has been highly prized in Middle East and Mediterranean regions since antiquity. It is mentioned in the Bible in the song of Solomon. In three gospels we find the story of Mary Magdalena anointing Christ’s feet with ‘Nard’.

Physically, the oil has an effect on the person as a whole. It is helpful for allergic skin reactions and all kinds of rashes. It balances the skin’s physiology and rejuvenates it. Nard is wonderful when dealing with tension and anxiety. It stimulates and supports the immune and the nervous system. Like Frankincense, Nard assists people in letting go of fear and old emotional wounds. It is very good for chakra, energy or auric massage. It helps people nearing death. Nard acts on the brain and helps regenerate mental functions when you lack concentration.

Spiritually, Nard helps realize that our life on earth is not separated from the true purpose of creation. It helps strengthen the alchemy between matter and spirit, symbolized by the cosmic serpent that links the beginning and the end by biting its tail. Nard reveals the secret path to the seeker who tries hard with an open heart. The exceptional quality of its spiritual forces is expressed in this flower which comes directly from its roots.

Just put 2 to 3 drops on your heart chakra in the morning for connecting you to your inner self or 2 drops of our blend: “Grounding” on each foot to ground you or your clients.

What is a Therapeutic Grade ESSENTIAL OIL? by Mikael Zayat*

While aromatherapy may involve training and in-depth knowledge of the properties and effects of essential oils, it may also be practiced simply and safely to add beautiful aromas to our environment each day.

Many people are not aware that there are several grades of essential oils, and that less than 1% of the oils that come into the U.S. can be considered of the highest grade, or therapeutic grade for the use of aromatherapy. The lower grades are used for industrial purpose (fragrance -including most candles!- food, laundry detergents, toiletry). They can have an appealing fragrance, but they are synthetic and usually cut with toxic solvents. However, they will not produce the beneficial biochemical and electromagnetic effects that therapeutic grade essential oils will. In fact, if they have been adulterated, they can be harmful instead of beneficial!

A therapeutic grade oil must use a state of the art distillation process which must be at low pressure, and therefore takes much more time. It is done with natural spring water and exclusively in stainless steel distiller. Then the oil is stored to age from 2 weeks to five months in a cool dark place to gain its full aroma. For example, the industrial grade lavender takes about 30' to distill 85% of the oil but it can take one hour and a half more to extract the 15% remaining oil. The therapeutic grade lavender would distill for at least two hours to extract the various molecules.

"The extra time and care are worth it. Therapeutic grade oils support us on all levels simultaneously: they work with our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual being to heal, balance, integrate and expand our well-being and awareness, gradually raising our frequencies and grounding joy in our bodies.

THE ULTIMATE GIFT: A ROSE BOUQUET IN A BOTTLE! By Mikael Zayat

The Rose has traditionally been associated with Venus, goddess of love and beauty. To the Christian mystics, it was the flower of the Virgin Mary.

There are thousands of different roses. Rose damascena, also known as the Bulgarian or Turkish rose is normally used to produce Rose essential oil. It is almost clear in color and will solidify if placed in a cool place.

The Rosa Centifolia or cabbage rose is another variety which is normally produced in Morocco and Tunisia. Its oil has a reddish orange color. Both rose oils are very costly -- each drop is equivalent to 25 beautiful roses -- but they are regularly adulterated by profit-hungry companies, so be wary and buy only from a reliable aromatherapy source.

The rose petals are hand-picked before the dew evaporates. They are then “distilled” to produce the rose essential oil or rose absolute done by “solvent extraction”.

Of all the essential oils, Rose oil has the highest vibration. It radiates out love, whether physical or unconditional. If you experience grief, rose oil will help open the heart chakra again, helping one to recover faster. Rose also strengthens the heart energy and helps radiate unconditional love. It helps healing birth traumas. It is a gentle aphrodisiac, facilitates creativity, and spiritualizes sexual encounters.

Place a drop on the heart or dilute it with a good massage oil and spread it all over your body. It can make a divine gift for the holiday season. $24 or $43/ml

CONIFERS: THE MOST ANCIENT ANTIBIOTIC, by Mikael Zayat*

Conifers are among the most ancient species of the plant kingdom and the first known to produce Essential oils. Cedar was used for construction of boats and housing that were built to last. This wood resisted fungus and bacteria due to its high content of Essential oil.

Conifers are in fact pro-biotic (pro means for or to promote and bio means life) while anti-biotics stands for against life. Conifers’ Essential oils, not only eliminate bacteria and fungus but promote a healthy life by boosting the immune system It also helps improve our positive and joyful thinking besides refilling our energy reserve.

1. Diffusing 10-15 drops of Balsam Fir or a conifer blend (“Conifer”, “Voice of the Ancestors”, “Indian Spirit”, “Christmas Joy”, “Oxygen Up”) will not only purify the air but will leave a very pleasant aroma in your living room. If you are tired and need a quick boost, apply 5-10 drops of those blends to your lower back and massage it.

2. White Cedar, also known as Arborvitae, or Cedar leaf can help fight arthritis and will get rid of toenail fungus and warts.

3. Canadian Tsuga, also known as Hemlock Fir will help fight lung ailments and is a good support during any transition period: new job, moving, birth, marriage, and most of all when people are dying or getting divorce and need to let go. (“Fearless”, “Protection” and “Rainbow Bridge” are three of our blends)

4. 10 drops of Red Pine in a massage oil are excellent for bad circulation (cold feet etc.)

Remember Mother Nature next time your system is experiencing difficulties.

FRANKINCENSE, A SCENT FROM ANCIENT TIMES, By Mikael Zayat

Associated with the highest spiritual aspirations, Frankincense, (in French, the real incense) is used to uplift and create a meditative state; it has the ability to deepen and slow the breath which helps bring body and mind into meditative state. It was offered to the infant Christ by the Magi in recognition of His divinity and it helps each of us to connect to that part of our selves which is eternal and divine.

Much of what is on the market is synthetically enhanced. The pure oil from the gum resin is called Frankincense, Boswellia carteri, while the standard is called Olibanum. There are many Olibanums labeled as Frankincense and your nose cannot always tell you the truth, but the resin would stick to your fingers.. There is also a new way to extract it using CO2, but it makes the oil much more expensive.

In ancient Egypt, it was used in rejuvenating, face masks, cosmetics and perfumes. It has been used for syphilis, rheumatism, respiratory and urinary tract infections, digestive and nervous tensions. It also covers a wide range of uses from antibacterial, anti-inflammatory to revitalizing, tonic, uplifting but is also used to calm, relax, promote sleep, soothes and heals inflamed skin, bruises and burns.

Frankincense helps break ties with the past, especially where these block personal growth. When you need to let go or feel inadequate, take a bath to wash away any old ties, or put it in burners so you get to know who you are and gain self confidence.

Good for release and forgiveness, so you can be on your journey of power. Has helped people with brain tumor or cancer.

Put 1 drop as is on your heart chakra or 1 on each ankle before going to bed.

We carry it pure or combined with Myrrh in our Spirit of the Temple blend: good for ceremonies.

INCREASE YOUR NEGATIVE IONS AND SAY GOOD BYE TO VIRUSES LIKE SARS, By Mikael Zayat

Negative ions are abundant in wooded areas, beach, or near flowing cascades. These ions lift our spirits and increase our sense of well-being. Unfortunately, they are depleted by air conditioning and heating systems. Now you can bring them back by diffusing these Essential Oils with a nebulizer.

Arborvitae (Thuja Occidentalis)
Called the Tree of life by the Native Americans due to its purifying and wound healing virtues, this Yin oil is appreciated for killing bacteria, repelling insects and healing scars. It can help fight arthritis, eliminate toenail fungus and warts, soothe poison ivy and psoriasis. Good in case of emotional trauma, alcohol abuse, exposure to radiation, drugs, abusive treatment. It heals the energy field and expels negative forms.
Arborvitae oil is rich in thujone, a substance that can be neurotoxic if taken internally. Use no more than two weeks at a time. More if diluted in blends like our Fungus Out and Conifer, or mixed with a massage oil like Arthritis.

Black Spruce (Picea mariana)
This widespread American conifer produces a very invigorating essential oil. Dr. Penoel recommends it to tonify the nervous and immune systems. Also for bronchitis, chronic fatigue and muscular pain.
It helps to reduce stress and anxiety. It also balances the sacral and solar plexus and will help you to be happier whether you are alone or with others.

To uplift the whole organism, massage 10–20 drops on the lower back near the waist for 1–2 minutes. Your spine will thank you!
